the sentinel in downtown portland - stunning winter wedding
i can’t believe that this was in february! and that we are just about to get into october. time could not be moving any faster right now, i feel like i’m grasping at the fringes everyday & trying to get something done on my never-ending to-do list.
soft winters wedding at oswego hills vineyard & winery
this was such a fun shoot to be a part of! cindy lindsley of peach keen coordination organized this and asked me to be a part of this soft winters shoot. i love the autumn colors of the trees & landscape that snuck into the beautiful couples portraits below. this whole shoot definitely has a calm energy that you can feel around - i need more of that kind of energy.
wedding invitations: ombre elopement in lincoln city, oregon
ohh, get ready to take some notes from this beautiful set of photos if you are wanting a cute, rustic wedding. i am all about this vibe - the sweetheart table & the beautiful bouquet go so well together and would be an amazing addition to any wedding.
wedding invitations: sauvie's island elopement
get ready for some gorgeous photos! i am obsessed. this shoot was shot & organized by chelsea jones photography, you remember me raving about her in one of the previous posts, right? yes - she’s amazing.
this was one of my first styled shoots - a pretty amazing shoot for one of my first! amanda & collin had a private elopement on sauvie’s island, full with a beautiful table with a hearty spread, champagne & sparklers, and a dip in the river.
workshop: tea bar with jasmine henderson
this was such a fun workshop! this was basically the first intro to modern calligraphy workshop i had ever done, not counting the workshop i did in 2017 with just friends. i held it at tea bar on division in southeast portland and had a lovely time meeting the ladies who came to the class! we had a relaxing morning together learning the basics of calligraphy and honing our new skills with lots of practice.
event calligraphy: the floral sessions workshop
i was so lucky to be a part of the floral sessions last year. the floral session is a floral workshop put on by heather smith of sea of roses, foraged blooms, & for the love of floral. they put on this dreamy workshop at croft farm right outside of portland, oregon where they taught the basics of becoming a florist.
workshop: intro to modern calligraphy at t project
it was so much fun hosting a calligraphy workshop at t project this past march. i have only hosted calligraphy workshops at tea bar so far, so it was nice to switch things up a bit and push myself out of my comfort zone.
we held the class at t project in nw portland, run by the lovely teri gelber. teri is so sweet & made me feel right at home. she is a tea expert and mixes her special tea blends by hand in her studio space that we got to work in.
mt. hood elopement shoot with calligraphed vows: natalie & dalton
what a cute couple, right? and just catch a bit of that sun - sheesh! this shoot is one for the books. i was lucky enough to write custom vows for this cute couple, natalie & dalton, for this styled elopement shoot. i loved using paper that had deckled edges for the vows, as it adds a more personal, handmade element into the mix. i styled their vows in my signature, loose calligraphy style and i think it pairs nicely with the whole shoot.
