wedding invitations: sauvie's island elopement
get ready for some gorgeous photos! i am obsessed. this shoot was shot & organized by chelsea jones photography, you remember me raving about her in one of the previous posts, right? yes - she’s amazing.
this was one of my first styled shoots - a pretty amazing shoot for one of my first! amanda & collin had a private elopement on sauvie’s island, full with a beautiful table with a hearty spread, champagne & sparklers, and a dip in the river. is every elopement like this? because this is a great way to start off any partnership. delicious food, good views, wonderful company, & gorgeous florals. i’m all about it!
i am obsessed with so many of these details, i can’t really choose a favorite. this tablescape is amazing & what i live for. such a pretty bouquet, a board packed full of goodies, and candles to set the mood. we are trying to get our backyard under control (think lots of weeds & overgrown plants, ahh) and this is great motivation for me to get back at it again. i love bringing beautiful set-ups into nature and making it homey out there. i mean, it’s gorgeous!
this bouquet though brings the whole shoot to another level. it is turning my eyes into hearts and is whispering to me that i should spend all of my money on florals, because look how much it can level up a shoot!
i didn’t include too many shots of the wedding stationery i made for this shoot, but it’s on the tablespace. it is one of my favorites - the emma suite (which was also used for the other chelsea jones shoot) - is really simple. i love it. it’s paired down to the basics, with the couple’s name in large calligraphy & details about the day in a simple font. i paired it with a simple gray envelope. and i made a menu to match it.
it was fun making my first invitation suite for a styled shoot! hope you loved it and don’t spend the rest of your day looking at these gorgeous photos! xo
