i was so lucky to be a part of the floral sessions last year. the floral session is a floral workshop put on by heather smith of sea of roses, foraged blooms, & for the love of floral. they put on this dreamy workshop at croft farm right outside of portland, oregon where they taught the basics of becoming a florist.

the day was full of lessons, a beautiful catered lunch (by the amazing savour and graze!), and a photoshoot at the end. participants got to create their own bouquet, and got to have professional pictures take of it, as well as their own headshots. then all of the florals were used for a short modeling session at the end, with the beautiful sierra. it was a dream come true, and if you don’t believe me - just check out the photos below.

i provided custom name tags for all the participants. they were laid out on the pretty mustard napkins at each participan't’s table setting. i also did some custom calligraphy for the floral sessions workshop packet and did a fun custom drawing of the croft farm that was used on the cover page.

this was my first time creating a custom drawing for a venue and i loved how it turned out and the whole process of putting it together. it is definitely something i want to be doing in the future, so if you are in need of a venue drawing to spice up your online presence or physical branding, let me know - i would love to help!

putting together bouquets is one of my secrete past times, i love buying a bunch of grocery store florals and making something significant out of them - it’s fun and an easy creative outlet that i get to enjoy for the rest of the week! and it’s such a good reminder of fading beauty and to enjoy the here & now. but these pictures below will last forever, so please - enjoy!
