summer prints
these were the prints that i made during summer, and i can’t believe it’s fall & i’m just blogging about these. it was so fun to dip my toe into making my first prints, i hope you like these & that they inspire you when you wake up in the morning, or during a hard day at work.
lisa & aki
my cousin, lisa, got married to the man of her dreams, aki, at the beautiful nordic northwest. in lovely southwest portland, nordic northwest is a GORGEOUS scandinavian-inspired venue that houses the famous broder soder. the sun was out, the weather was perfect & it all added up to be a stunning wedding day for this special couple.
simple calligraphy cards
i made these simple calligraphy cards for a variety of occasions: thanks, thinking of you, celebration, sorrow, & celebration of people! you can grab any card individually, or i also made a pack of cards so you can stock up for any occasion. click through to see these cards in the shop.
tyler & kelsey
tyler & kelsey had SUCH a beautiful wedding. i didn't save enough of the other wedding pictures, but just imagine - an intimate wedding at union/pine, with a photobooth, appetizers, bar, and a waffle dinner! it was a portland dream. the waffle vendor was actually the same vendor that luke & i had at our wedding, it is such a fun way to switch up the norm & super memorable for all the guests. i knew kelsey from college, and then tyler & luke were both worship leaders in the area, so it was so fun to celebrate these two cuties together!
brett & jenn
check out these two darling lovebirds who happen to be two of my dear friends. brett & jenn got married in the beautiful stevenson, washington at maple leaf events. it was a gorgeous outdoor ceremony with hand crafted pizza from a food cart for dinner! the weather was perfect, they had the perfect amount of guests - it was a night to remember!
invites: melissa & landon
this suite was actually a mock-up. i am going to be making more invitation suites to flex my creative muscles more often & to give future brides an idea of what i can make them. this was a fun suite to make that was based off some soft peach watercolor tones.
kraft paper seating chart
this is the first paper seating chart i've ever made. let me tell you, it was stressful! it took me around 8 hours to make it, and if i messed up i would've had to start all over again! paper & ink just aren't the most forgiving materials - and that's the reason why i love calligraphy, but also the reason why it is so challenging!
invites: kristen & mick
this was such a fun invitation suite to design! again, this was using a set of colors that i wouldn't have initially chosen on my own - yet i love how it turned out. nothing like challenging yourself with new limits. i was honored that my good family friend asked me to design her wedding invitations - it's such an honor! her and her fiancé are super outdoors, and actually were in zion camping for a whole week while i worked up this set. a whole week! can you believe it? my backpacking max is two nights, which is actually only one full day in the wild - so yes, wow. i am very impressed with them!
