portland winter markets with everglow handmade
this holiday season was a special one for us at everglow handmade! after a few years away, we decided to jump back into the holiday market scene, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. our market adventures started with legendary maker’s market, where the set-up process was a whirlwind of hauling in our tables, displays, and goods to create a visually stunning layout. the star of the show was, of course, our beloved card tree–an eye-catching display that was a playful way for visitors to explore or charming greeting cards.
next up was my people’s market at the oregon convention center, where the behind-the-scenes magic continued. it was the perfect opportunity for us to connect with the community on a more personal level. conversations flowed effortlessly among vendors and customers, and we enjoyed discovering the unique offerings of other bipoc vendors—homemade soap, jewelry, baked goods, and everything in between.
our holiday market journey reached its pinnacle at unique markets, and the veterans memorial coliseum provided a fitting backdrop for our final weekend. the camaraderie between different local vendors added an extra layer of joy, especially as the holiday spirit was in full swing. throughout it all, we relished in the exchanges we had with fellow vendors and shared stories with shoppers. these holiday markets hold a special place in our hearts because they are all about crafting memorable experiences and uplifting local vendors.
as we look forward to this new year, we can’t help but feel excited about what’s to come. reflecting on the past season fills us with gratitude for the connections made and the shared moments of joy. thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came out to see us, it was such a joy to see you in person after so long & to see what products resonated with you. a great reminder of why we do what we do. we love you all!
here’s to a new year brimming with creativity, community, and a dash of artistic elegance!
