crafts: chalkboard painted lids
i've been sitting on a lot of old supplies lately, including some old chalkboard paint from this post and a ton of leftover mason jars from who knows where. i put two and two together and painted the jar lids with chalkboard paint so they could be labeled and changed up - i think the result is pretty cute and i am happy to have them in our little kitchen!
this is a super easy project! just paint your lid at least two layers of chalkboard paint and you are good to go. i only painted the inner rim, i think it's cute with some normal lid showing. and then, label as you please!
i have been super into simple tea lattes lately and made my jars hold my tea bags and sugar. now i can keep it out in the open (since it now passes the kitchen-counter-cuteness test) and even though it's such a small change, it's made making my tea so much easier! and much less of an eye-sore, win-win!
this project can be used for anything, and would work great with coffee beans, spices and even craft supplies! can't wait to see how else you guys use this project!
