♥ Last week was CRAZY. I just was a poor planner and ended up sleeping only one hour one night. But everything turned out all right! I had some really good short talks and got an A-/B on one of my papers -- that I started the night before. I've always wanted to be one of those people, so I'm glad I kinda got there.♥ Went home to Portland this weekend and saw my grandpa get honored with the Congressional Gold Medal! SO COOL! So proud of my handsome grandpa. He was in the Military Intelligence Service. His unit was honored with the 100th Infantry Battalion and the 442nd Regimental Combat Team -- together they were the most decorated unit in history! It's also amazing, all these men were fighting for the country that put their families in internment camps. They are all so inspiring, and I am so proud of my grandpa!! Their motto was 'go for broke', and I'm going to make that my new motto, too.♥ Ohh, the lens for my SLR camera finallyyyy got fixed! I'm so lazy, but I finally got around to it and I'm excited to take more LIFE pictures! I was super inspired by my great-aunt, whose husband just passed away :(, and the beautiful pictures she had of them and him for his service. Life is so beautiful and we can't let it slip away!♥ I'm so sentimental this week. After hanging out with so many older, amaazing people I just can't wait to do something amazing my life - and I hope that I am doing something right now amazing with my life. Yes, I think I am.
