salt glitter!
Here I tried to make some salt glitter, as seen here. Super easy and super fun. I made this with one with my sister, we had a grand time bonding over the salt & mixing while sharing childhood stories.
Pretty simple stuff: all you need is food coloring, salt, mixing bowls, mixer/chopstick, pan & oven. Mix the food coloring with salt to get beautiful colors & then pour out on the pan & stick it in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. And voila! The color is baked into the salt.
As you can see, the picture on the pinterest is actual glitter. Not the salt glitter. It was so misleading I almost cried. Anyways, now you have salt glitter. Or colored salt? Do you think it's still edible? Maybe you can use it to cook with, and you can add a little color to those normally plain dishes. Maybe? Anyways, glad that I crossed this project off the list! (These pictures are after being baked!)
